How does the matching work?
Tell us about your budget, city and everyday habits. We compare structured lifestyle vectors, then show the things you have in common and the differences to talk about. We don’t use ethnicity, religion or health information. Scores are a conversation starter, not a guarantee.
Can I use SpeedFlatmates for free?
Yes. Create a profile, discover matches, like people, browse rooms and list a room for free. Messaging mutual matches and replying are free. A one-off seven-day messaging pass lets you initiate additional conversations.
Is the messaging pass a subscription?
No. It’s a one-off purchase covering seven days from successful payment. It does not renew automatically. You can still reply to existing conversations when it ends.
Are members and rooms verified?
Members must verify their email to appear in matches, send messages and submit listings. Email verification is not an identity or property check. Listings are reviewed before publication, but always view a room, check the advertiser and review the agreement yourself.
How do video introductions work?
Start a conversation, propose a 20-minute call and let the other person accept. Add it to your calendar and meet through the video provider configured for the service. Calls are optional and availability is shown in your dashboard.
Where can I find flatmates?
Profiles and room searches support UK towns and cities. We’re building our first community in Sheffield, with city launch lists for Leeds, Manchester, London and beyond. Availability depends on people and rooms joining in your area.
